Version of October 4, 2026 · billing and plan change clauses in effect from November 3, 2026
Terms of use
These rules apply to anyone who hires Recebbe to sell: what we deliver, what you are responsible for, how the monthly fee works and when an account may be suspended.
This translation is provided for convenience. The Portuguese version is the legally binding one: read it in Portuguese.
Summary: Recebbe is the platform that builds your payment page and organizes the sale. The money from your sales does not pass through us: it goes from your payment gateway straight to your account. You pay a monthly fee based on your tier of approved sales in the month, with no percentage on sales, and you can cancel whenever you want. You are the seller, and you are the one accountable to the buyer for the product.
What changed on October 4, 2026: the billing clause (item 5) now explains the monthly and annual plans, the ways to pay for the annual plan and the renewal notices, and the new plan change clause introduces the prorated credit. As item 12 requires, these changes take effect on November 3, 2026, 30 days after the email notice. Until then, the version of October 3, 2026 applies; the prorated credit, since it only works in your favor, already applies now.
1. Who is who
- Recebbe: checkout and sales management platform, operated by CarbonoTech (Carbono Tecnologia & Instituição de Pagamento Ltda, CNPJ 30.037.007/0001-49, Rua José Vedovatto, 2010, Sala 01, Jardim Bom Retiro, Sumaré/SP, Brazil, ZIP code 13181-680). It displays the offer, creates the charge on the seller's behalf in the seller's gateway, records the order and notifies the seller's systems.
- You (seller): the person or company that creates the account, connects their own gateway and sells to their buyers.
- Payment gateway: the payments company that holds your account (such as Asaas or CarbonoPay), which verifies identity, processes PIX, boleto and card payments, holds the money and pays it out to you.
- Buyer: whoever pays through your payment page. The consumer relationship is between them and you.
2. What Recebbe delivers
Access to the cloud platform to create products, offers and checkouts, receive orders, track sales and subscriptions, send webhooks and use the integrations in your plan. Recebbe is provided as an ongoing service and may be improved, adjusted and fixed at any time.
Recebbe is not a payment institution, does not act as custodian of your money, does not advance receivables and is not the seller of your product.
3. The money from your sales
Every payment is processed by the gateway connected to your account and lands in the account you hold with that gateway. Release times, transaction fees, limits, holds, advances and withdrawals are the gateway's rules, agreed between you and it. Recebbe does not receive, hold or pass on the amount of your sales, and therefore cannot release, advance or block that money either.
4. Account, access and security
- You must be 18 or older and provide truthful information when signing up, including a valid CPF or CNPJ.
- Your email must be verified before any payment link is published.
- Without a connected gateway, no payment link opens.
- Your password is personal. You are responsible for whatever is done with your account credentials and for the people you invite to your team.
- Your gateway keys are stored encrypted and are never displayed back on screen.
5. Monthly fee, trial and cancellation
- Trial: 7 days with no charge and no card, on the plan indicated at sign-up, covering up to 50 approved sales. Reaching that limit does not block sales: the dashboard asks you to choose a plan.
- Plans: the monthly fee varies according to the tier of approved sales in the last 30 days (rolling window). Upsells and subscription renewals count as sales; refunded or charged-back sales do not. Every plan includes every feature. The current amounts are always on the plans page; above the largest plan, the amount is on request.
- Going over the cap: sales are never blocked. You are notified at 80% and at 100% of the cap, and billing moves to the next plan in the following cycle.
- Billing: the plan can be monthly or annual. The monthly plan is billed by automatic recurring charge every month. The annual plan can be paid at once, with the advertised discount, by PIX, credit card in up to 12 installments, boleto or split payment (card and PIX, or two cards); in that case we email you 15, 7 and 1 day before the due date and on the day itself, with the renewal link. The annual plan can also be paid by automatic charge, when contracted that way.
- Plan changes: from the dashboard, whenever you want. When upgrading to the annual option of a bigger plan in the middle of a period already paid, the part of that period you will not use becomes a prorated credit, deducted from the amount of the new plan (the amount paid divided by the days in the period and multiplied by the days remaining; the charge is never below the minimum of R$ 5.00 and any leftover credit does not become a balance), and the new plan applies from the payment onward. When downgrading to a smaller plan, or from annual to monthly, the change takes effect at the end of the period already paid, with no refund.
- Late payment: the deadlines count from the monthly fee due date. After 3 days late, access to the dashboard is blocked, and your payment links keep working. After 7 days, your payment links go offline (anyone trying to buy sees the offer as unavailable); your students' members area keeps working. After 30 days, the subscription is canceled. We email you on the due date and the day before each step, and everything comes back as soon as the payment is confirmed.
- Cancellation: at any time, from the dashboard, with no penalty. Access continues until the end of the period already paid and there is no prorated refund, except where the law requires it.
- Adjustments: the amounts may change, with at least 30 days' notice by email and on the plans page. The new amount only applies from the following cycle.
6. What you agree to do
- Sell only what is allowed by the Acceptable use policy and by law.
- Describe the offer honestly: amount, what is included, delivery time, guarantee and subscription rules.
- Deliver what you sold, serve the buyer and handle cancellations and refunds within the period you promised and what the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code guarantees.
- Keep an active support email, which appears at checkout and in the order emails.
- Issue invoices when applicable and pay your taxes.
- Process your buyers' data in accordance with the LGPD (Brazil's General Data Protection Law): you are the controller of that data.
- Not use the platform for card testing, money laundering, fraud, spam or any attack on our systems or anyone else's.
7. Suspension and termination
The account may be suspended, with notice by email, when there is consistent evidence of a breach of these terms or of the Acceptable use policy, a refund or dispute rate far above normal, an abnormal spike in declined payments (a sign of card testing), a well-founded report or an order from an authority. In urgent cases, the suspension may be immediate and the explanation follows.
You can close your account whenever you want. After closure, your data remains available for export for 30 days and, after that period, is deleted or anonymized, subject to the legal retention periods.
8. Your data and your buyers' data
Your buyers' data is yours: you can export it, receive it by webhook and use it in your system. Recebbe processes that data as a processor, on your behalf, and as a controller only for the platform's own purposes (security, fraud prevention, legal obligations). The details are in the Privacy policy.
9. Ownership
The software, the brand, the screen design and the documentation of Recebbe are ours. You receive a license to use them during your subscription, without the right to copy, resell or reverse engineer the platform. Your content (brand, texts, images, products) remains yours alone.
10. Availability
We work to keep the platform online at all times, but there is no guarantee of uninterrupted operation. Scheduled downtime is announced in advance whenever possible. Failures of the gateway, the bank, the buyer's network or third-party services are beyond our control.
11. Limitation of liability
Recebbe is responsible for the operation of the platform. It is not responsible for your product, your delivery, your sales promises, your commercial results or your gateway's decisions (approval, decline, hold, payout schedule, account closure). Where we are liable for a platform failure, that liability is limited to the amount of the monthly fees paid in the 12 months before the event.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The version in effect is always the one on this page, with the date at the top. Material changes are announced by email at least 30 days in advance; continuing to use the platform after that means you agree to the new version.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Brazilian law. For disputes with sellers that are legal entities, the courts of the district of Sumaré/SP, where CarbonoTech is headquartered, are chosen; for individual consumers, the courts of your place of residence apply.
